Cabbage Diet – 7 Days Diet of Rapid Weight Loss

“The more you eat, the more weight you lose” is the motto of this cabbage diet. If you start on Monday, the weekend you will be lighter with some kilos. But why is the cabbage diet so popular? Well, that’s easy. Because you lose enormous amount weight very quickly and you can eat as much as you want from the cabbage soup and combine it with fruits, vegetables, meat, baked potatoes, etc. The weight loss with this diet  is radical, because the soup is a low calorie meal, but it contains many vitamins making it very healthy. The diet is appropriate for the beginning of the long-term diet or for a rapid weight loss.

The Rules of The Cabbage Diet

  1. The alcohol consumption is prohibited since it prevents the burning of calories. When starting the diet must have passed at least 24 hours from the last intake of any kind of alcohol.
  2. The soft drinks are also banned. Drink only water, tea without sugar, coffee without cream and sugar, juices and fat loss milk.
  3. Pasta, bread, and any products containing flour, sugar or sugar products are prohibited.
  4. In the days that the diet allows meat you can eat chicken without skin or fish.
According to the hospital, which was developed in the diet can lose up to 7 kg. for one week. If you start on Monday and  follow the diet correctly you will lose between 7.5 and 8.5 kilograms until the end of the week. WARNING! You need to eat soup at least once a day! However, eating ONLY the soup can lead to malnutrition!

The Recipe for The Cabbage Soup

1 head green cabbage, diced 6 large green onions 2 big green peppers 1 tomato juice 1 celery stick diced Salt, pepper, parsley, curry (optional)  and other seasons you like Preparation: Cut into small pieces all products and put them in water. Cook the vegetables for 10 minutes on hot stove for 10 minutes until they get soft. Turn down the heat and leave it for 5 – 10  minutes. Season the soup with salt,  pepper, parsley and curry (or other seasons you like). The soup has no calories. Eat when you feel hungry. Eat as much as you want at any time. The more soup you eat, the more fat you burn. DAY 1: You can eat from tha cabbage soup and also some fruits (no bananas). Watermelon and melon contain the least calories.Drink water, tea or coffee without sugar. DAY 2: That day you can eat soup and vegetables. Eat until you are filled with fresh or cooked vegetables of your choice, but DO NOT eat beans and corn.For lunch you can afford a big baked potato with butter. In this day DO NOT eat fruit. DAY 3: At the third day of the Cabbage Diet you can eat the cabbage soup, fruit and vegetables (excluding potatoes).If you’ve followed the diet correctly, you lost 3 kg. of weight. DAY 4: Soup, bananas and milk. At this day, you eat up to six bananas. Drink milk as much as you want. Bananas have lots of carbohydrates and calories, but this particular day of your diet will reduce your craving for something sweet. DAY 5: Soup, meat and tomatoes. You can eat 300-600 gr. boiled chicken in salted water with 6 fresh tomatoes. Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water. DO NOT FORGET to  eat from the  soup at least once a day. DAY 6: Soup, broiled fish or chicken and vegetables.Eat as much meat as you wish. DAY 7: Soup, vegetables and rice. The rice is boiled in little water, longer than usual. You can add salt and tomato juice. Drink vegetable juice.
